BRIEF AAN DE KNVB OVER DEELNAME AAN HET EK ONDER DE 21 JAAR
Geachte lezers,
Zoals u waarschijnlijk weet neemt de KNVB dit jaar deel
aan de EK voetbalkampioenschappen voor jongeren beneden de
21 jaar, dat in Israel zal plaatsvinden

Aangezien Israel met zijn onrechtmatige bezettingsregime sinds 1967 de
rechten van de Palestijnse bevolking systematisch schendt, waarvan ook voetballers
slachtoffer worden heb ik onderstaande brief aan de KNVB geschreven om ze
op te roepen, af te zien van deelname in Israel.
Zo niet, dan zijn zij moreel medeplichtig aan steun aan het Israelische bezettingsregime. Verder lezen
rechten van de Palestijnse bevolking systematisch schendt, waarvan ook voetballers
slachtoffer worden heb ik onderstaande brief aan de KNVB geschreven om ze
op te roepen, af te zien van deelname in Israel.

Libyans have a right to expect that officials who abused their positions under Gaddafi to commit crimes or violate human rights will be removed and never again allowed to hold public office.

(Beirut) – Libya’s General National Congress (GNC) should vote down the latest draft of a new law to bar Gaddafi-era officials from holding public office. The proposed law’s provisions and procedures for exclusion are too sweeping and vague, Human Rights Watch said. Further, a recent amendment to the provisional constitution would prohibit judicial review of the law. A vote is expected in congress on May 5, 2013.

INTRODUCTION:
After 42 years the dictatorship of Gaddafi has come to an end
However, the new rulers don’t deserve any benefit of the doubt
They didn’t trust on the strength of the Libyan people and made alliance with the NATO
which only serve Western interests
With a pro Western regime, the Libyan people can forget any real independence and
social advancement
Regarding human rights they made a bloody beginning with the apparent extrajudicial
execution of Gaddafi and his son Mutassim
Prisoners have been tortured and humiliated
There are vehement racist attacks on African migrant workers and black Libyans
When the situation stays this and those responsible for torture and violence
don’t face prosecution, the former Gaddafi dictatorship will be followed by a next one

Zo, dus Thatcher is gisteren overleden, op een leeftijd die zeer veel van de slachtoffers van haar neoliberalisme nooit hebben mogen behalen. De media staan al vol met terugblikken, opvallende citaten van haar, analyses over wat ze allemaal heeft veranderd in Groot-Brittannië. Boegbeeld van keihard neoliberalisme, vijand van “de samenleving” als iets waar collectiviteit en solidariteit in tel zijn, nationalistisch leider tegen zowel Argentinië als tegen boeman Europa, bondgenoot en vertrouweling van dat andere rechtse boegbeeld Ronald Reagan. Dat was Thatcher. Er is nog wel meer, en lang niet alles bestaat uit oppervlakkigheden en clichés.

Door zijn Westerse politieke tegenstanders en media werd de nadruk gelegd op zijn ”dictatoriale” kant en zijn onderdrukking [in eigen land] van de vrijheid van meningsuiting
Deze kritiek werd grotendeels gedeeld door mensenrechtenorganisaties als Human Rights Watch en Amnesty International
