FUNERAL REFUSAL FOR LONDON BRIDGE ATTACKERS/VIOLATION
OF RELIGIOUS AND HUMAN VALUES
”AN EYE FOR AN EYE ONLY ENDS UP MAKING THE
WHOLE WORLD BLIND”
QUOTE MAHATMA GANDHI
SHAME ON YOU!
No, I don’t mean the three London Bridge Attackers, who
recently have made at least 7 deadly victims [and now perhaps more].[1]
Because that need not to be stated:
Any terrorist attack [a military attack on civilians, with a political purpose]
is horrific, anti human and an utter violation of human values.
No, SHAME ON YOU! is directed against  the attitude of Islamic
religious leaders towards the perpetrators of the London Bridge Attacks,
for refusing to bury them.

KLM REFUSES SEVEN PASSENGERS FOLLOWING
TRUMP’S MUSLIM COUNTRY BAN/KLM COMPLICITY
WITH TRUMP’S DISCRIMINATION POLICY
Underlying letter is the English translation of a letter
I wrote to KLM to protest their
collaboration with the discriminatory and Islamophobic Trump
travel ban:
See my website under KLM
Text of my letter:
”KLM weigert VS reizigers vanwege Trump/KLM medeplichtigheid aan uitsluitingsbeleid”
See the KLM  statement under note 1
Although the muslimban is temporarily cancelled  by the Federal Judge [2],
reason why KLM gave in [3], my letter about
the complicity and co responsibility of KLM with Trump’s discriminatory and
Islamophobic policy  is still valid.

Early morning 19th february action Group ”War on your doorstep” , has  taken action  against the National Aerospace Laboratory , one of fifteen companies from the Netherlands that are planning to take part in one of the largest arms fairs in the world, the largest in the Middle-East, the IDEX [International Defence Exhibition
The National Aerospace Laboratory (NLR), located in Amsterdam, received lots of red paint on their doorstep and facade, as well as broken windows.
A good action, as far as I am concerned.

For of course it didn’t happen ”out of the blue”

COMMENTS ON GUEST POST BY JEFFREY STAYTON,
AUTHOR OF ” THIS SIDE OF THE RIVER”
Dear Readers,
Knowing Susan Higginbotham as the author about
Medieval history and often blogging about that period and
shortly thereafter, I was pleasantly surprised to learn about a
Guest post, referring to the American Civil war.
Guest poster is the writer Jeffrey Stayton, who wrote a novel
about the Civil War, focusing on a sort of soldiers shell shock,
PTSD.
His book is titled
”This side of the River”
See the Blog
Perhaps she welcomed his Guest Post because of her yet to be published
novel on the aftermath of the American Civil War ”Hanging Mary”, which
actually refers to the president Lincoln murderer William Booth
However interesting, I had some comments on Stayton’s post and approach.
For I acknowledge the suffering of soldiers because of the horrors
of war, but comparing to that, the suffering of the thousands and
sometimes 100 000 civilians is seldom counted, at least not as individuals.
Therefore I wrote the following comment under Jeffrey Stayton’s post,
for remembering everyone, that the common civilians mostly pay
the highest price in wars.
A TRAVEL TO THE PAST AND PRESENT

Letter to the members of the District Council of Amsterdam Zuid-Oost about their refusal to provide basic needs for the rejected refugees of the Vluchtgarage

LETTER TO THE MEMBERS OF THE DISTRICT COUNCIL  OF AMSTERDAM ZUID-OOST
ABOUT THEIR REFUSAL TO PROVIDE BASIC NEEDS FOR THE REJECTED REFUGEES OF THE VLUCHTGARAGE
Dear Readers
A Happy, Healthy 2014 with a continuation of the struggle against injustice and human rights violations.
Hereby my translated letter to the members of the district council of Amsterdam Zuid-Oost [South-East], which
I wrote in december 2013 about their refusal to provide elementary
facilities to thegroup of rejected refugees, who is staying for now in the Vluchtgarage, Kralenbeek 100,
Amsterdam Zuid-Oost.
With great respect for those, who squatted  the ”Vlucht” locations for the refugees, everytime when they were evicted again.
And with  thanks to the Christen-Unie, which did the proposal in the District Council to provide
the refugees from basic needs.

Statement Bradley Manning/”Somtimes you have to pay a heavy price to live in a free society”

SOMETIMES YOU HAVE TO PAY A HEAVY PRICE TO LIVE IN A FREE SOCIETY

The following is a transcript of the statement made by Pfc. Bradley Manning as read by David Coombs at a press conference on Wednesday after Manning was sentenced to 35 years in prison.

WATCH VIDEO OF COOMBS STATEMENT HERE

The decisions that I made in 2010 were made out of a concern for my country and the world that we live in. Since the tragic events of 9/11, our country has been at war. We’ve been at war with an enemy that chooses not to meet us on any traditional battlefield, and due to this fact we’ve had to alter our methods of combating the risks posed to us and our way of life.

2006/The Saddam Hussein trial and the right of any human being to a fair trial

THE SADDAM HUSSEIN TRIAL AND THE RIGHT OF ANY HUMAN BEING TO A FAIR TRIAL

by Astrid Essed Saturday, Nov. 18, 2006 at 7:57 AM

Not only I object the imposed death-penalty on the former Iraqi president Saddam Hussein and two co-accused, also the trial itself didn’t meet the international standards regarding a fair trial
