HRW: ISRAEL VERDRIJFT BEDOUIENEN: WAARDERING VOOR NOS BERICHTGEVING

 

 

Geachte lezers,
deze keer een woord van waardering over hun berichtgeving ”HRW: Israel verdrijft Bedouienen”
Eindelijk eens een keer de ruimte voor de kritiek van de mensenrechtenorganisaties
op de Israelische bezettings en etnische zuiveringspolitiek.

Boycot Israel/Aldi noemt boycot nederzettingen vergissing/Brief aan Aldi

 

ALDI NOEMT BOYCOT NEDERZETTINGEN ”VERGISSING”/BRIEF AAN ALDI

VOORAF

Geachte lezers,

Aangezien de EU nieuwe richtlijnen heeft ingevoerd  [in werking tredend in 2014],

waarbij geen zaken meer wordt gedaan met Israelische personen, organisaties eninstellingen,

die aanwezig zijn in de bezette Palestijnse gebieden, is de discussie over het al dan niet verkopen

van producten uit de illegale Israelische nederzettingen in bezet Palestijns gebied weer opgelaaid.

Hierbij hebben de supermarkten Aldi en Hoogvliet verklaard, geen producten meer te verkopen

uit de nederzettingen.

Aangezien Aldi kort na deze toezegging hierop teruggekomen is en sprak van een ”vergissing”

heb ik Aldi aangeschreven.

Zie hieronder de brief.

Eerder schreef ik Albert Heijn  aan over de gecontinueerde verkoop van Israelische

producten, waarmee economisch het Israelische bezettingsregime wordt gesteund.

Geacht Management,
Bij dezen wil ik graag uw aandacht vragen voor het volgende:
Als geregelde Aldi klant heeft het mij
buitengewoon teleurgesteld, dat u kennelijk
bent teruggekomen op uw besluit, geen producten meer te verkopen,
die afkomstig zijn uit de in bezet Palestijns gebied aanwezige
Israelische nederzettingen.
Ik citeer Trouw
”Aldi eist van zijn leveranciers, dat ze niets meer aanbieden uit de nederzettingen. Als reden geeft
een woordvoerster op, dat Aldi niet wil, dat zijn producten op
enigerlei wijze ter discussie komen te staan”.

With the whole or partly blockade on Gaza, the Israeli authorities are guilty of crimes against humanity

 

No electricity, people are going hungry, no bread, and no medicine and lots of things that are missing. people are out in the streets now calling for the world to end the starvation and siege. It might be that people’s only option is to break out the borderline and go to Egypt and get food. It’s scary here. no bread, no water at home where I am. I have some leftovers biscuits from two days ago. but my laptop batteries will be flat soon. I will find a new agency from those who have electricity generators to recharge my laptop and keep online, if you don’t hear from me this is why. Again, I fear Israeli warplanes will bomb the people in the streets. people are in lines trying to find bread. Not only the Western boycott of Durban II and the attitude on the Ahmadinejad speech lacks a fundamental respect for fundamental human rights, it is also hypocritical seeing in the light of her implicite support for the Israeli regime of occupation, letting get Israel away with human rights violations and war-crimes

EK onder de 21 jaar in Israel/Reactie op KNVB brief

 

Geachte lezers,Onlangs stuurde ik een brief aan de KNVB tav hun deelname aan
het EK onder de 21 jaar in Israel.
Hierbij protesteerde ik vanwege hun morele ondersteuning
van het Israelische bezettingsregime, dat ook Palestijnse voetballers
keihard treft.
Ik vond, dat de KNVB solidair met hen moest zijn en uiteraard
