The shamelessness of some initiatives to promote the Israeli
occupation power knows no limits.
The following is nearly hilaric, were t not so horrible
Recently (at 13th august), a joint project of the Paris and
Tel Aviv municipal governments, organised ´´Tel Aviv
Sur Seine´´
For a few hours on 13 August, a section of river bank in the French capital near the Pont d’Arcole will be turned into “Tel Aviv sur Seine” (Tel Aviv on the Seine), complete with falafel stands and “Israeli nightlife.” ¨(1)
Isn´t it cosy.
Tel Aviv sur Seine will be held at ´´Paris Plage´´
, a simulated beach the city sets up in the summer. (2)
Lionel Choukroun, director of Agence Culturelle, the company that is producing the event, says the idea is “to give Parisians and tourists the Tel Aviv experience without having to go anywhere.” (3)

In this comment I will concentrate on the human rights
violations and ¨(war) crimes, committed during the
Surinamese military dictatorship (1980-1987),
the short lived trial of one of the worst crimes, the frustration
of this trial and moreover
On the proposal of historian, writer and journalist
Sandew Hira (real name Dew Baboeram) to the
the present president D Bouterse, ex dictator and
former chief of the army,
head responsible for the military crimes, to make
a ´´testimony´´ on the military crimes.
Without trial.
Just like that.
Because I consider this as a serious travesty of
Justice, I wrote some comments on the Loop

13 percent VAT on elementary provisions [food,
energy etc] extremely high, comparing with 6 percent VAT on elementary
provisions in a relative wealthy country like the Netherlands
Freezing the collective labour agreements and violating
the right on strike.

Tsipras has sold off the Greek people to the EU/Trojka gangsters,
who push the Greek population further to social misery
and violating Greek sovereignty.
It has been said over and over:
Tsipras HAD an alternative:
Not to succumb to the EU diktat, but fight!
He had to investigate the economic consequences of a Grexit
and not obsessively try to stay in the euro and at a club [EU]
that humiliates and destroys the poor Greek people!

The police killing of Mitch Henriquez has led to three nights of protest and anti-police resistance in The Hague, Several hundreds of young people were out on the hot streets, confronting the cops.

The police killing of Mitch Henriquez has led to three nights of protest and sometimes surprisingly serious anti-police resistance in the Schilderswijk, a poor neighbourhood where the majority of the people living there is of migrant background. Serveral hundreds of youn people confronted the cops for hours on Monday night and again on Wednesday night. But streets in the neighbourhood were not exacty quiet on Tuesday night either.
